Apart from the audio and data loss issues, the latest functional Microsoft's Windows 10 October 2018 Update also has font issues for some users.
Fonts do not appear as they should in Settings and third-party applications such as Foobar2000.
This specific problem was reported in Reddit (1, 2 ). Here are some screenshots.
The above problem can be easily fixed, as long as you update its drivers computer by selecting the link you want from the following:
To fix the font problem, download the latest one version of the graphics card driver that your computer has and install it. If you already have the latest version of driver you will have to repeat the installation. It seems that the driver update changes the font cache and updates the font switching settings. So everything goes back to normal.
We do not know at this time when the next stable version of Windows will be released. If you are already using Windows 10 October 2018 Update and you are having problems, you might want to restore it to a previous version, more stable, at least until all the problems are fixed.
