Microsoft has released the latest version of Windows 10 October 2018 Update two days ago. Let us recall that this particular version was released at the beginning of October, but due to errors the company was forced to withdraw it.

In one support page, the company states that mapped network drives do not work in Windows 10, (version 1809).
Error in Windows 10 build 1809 prevents disconnected disks from mapped disks on the network at system startup. The displayed disks appear with a red X icon in Explorer and appear as unavailable in the "net use" command from the command prompt.
Microsoft posted a solution on the support page. The company recommends running a script on the affected systems that will automatically connect the assigned disks to the network after the operating system starts.
System administrators should get the commands from the Microsoft support page and run them at startup.
