If you are using Windows 10 with network attached drives, avoid it upgrade into a Windows 10 October 2018 Update.
Microsoft has released the latest version of Windows 10 October 2018 Update two days ago. It should be reminded that this version was released in early October, but due to errors the company was forced to withdraw it.
Microsoft it took six weeks to fix the October 2018 Update and release it again, but apparently six weeks did not reach it.
In one support page, the company states that the mapped networks drives do not work in Windows 10, (version 1809).
Error in Windows 10 build 1809 prevents disconnected disks from mapped disks on the network at system startup. The displayed disks appear with a red X icon in Explorer and appear as unavailable in the "net use" command from the command prompt.
Microsoft posted a solution on the support page. The company recommends running a script on the affected systems that will automatically connect the assigned disks to the network after the operating system starts.
System administrators should get them commands from the Microsoft support page and run them at startup.
Nevertheless, yesterday's announcement of Microsoft talked about more quality updates.
