Microsoft is expected to release a new set of cumulative updates for Windows 10 users today as part of its monthly Patch Tuesday cycle companys.
On Patch Tuesday, the focus is on fixing security issues in Windows 10 and applications them, but as is usually the case when such cumulative updates are released, there will be other bug fixes.
Although it's difficult to predict all the security fixes that Microsoft will make in today's updates, some of the non-security enhancements have already been tested in Windows Insider.
For example, today's cumulative information of Windows 10 in version 2004 is likely to resolve an error that causes the message “No connection to the Internetnetwork” on the system network icon, despite the connection working.
This update is already available for Windows Insider members.
All versions of Windows 10 will receive cumulative updates as part of Patch Tuesday, August 11th.
If you want to delay the installation of new cumulative updates due to the possibility of problems, you must press the pause button in Windows Update to delay the installation for one week.
The official release of the Patch Tuesday updates on August 11 will start later today. Security updates will also be released for Windows 8.1 (Windows 7 will only receive devices that have purchased an extended security update package).
