The development team has made the fastest installation by reducing the time the installer has connected to the internet, as they have managed to carry most of the processes after the system has rebooted to the online stage. 
In other words, most of the installation process of the upcoming system will be completed before the system reboots, and everything will happen in the background, so the machine will take less time offline.
However, according to the company, this will not apply to all systems. Redstone 4 can be installed in 30 minutes only on compatible hardware systems. For everything else, you'll need to connect online to complete the installation.
Reducing installation time is a project with which Microsoft began to develop before the development of the Fall Creators Update. In this update, the time after restart was reduced to 38%, and in total it reached 51 minutes.
With further optimizations at Redstone 4, the average time will reach 30 minutes, 63% faster than the previous version.
