"The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all versions will continue to be supported with monthly security update releases," Microsoft's Jason Leznek said in a post on blog outlining the roadmap of Windows.

Microsoft also updated the page that mentions the life cycle of Windows 10 Home and Pro to reflect the changes.

"Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025," the page states.

“The current build, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all builds will continue to be supported with monthly security update releases until that date. Existing [business] editions will continue to receive updates beyond that date based on their specific lifecycles.”

Microsoft has not made any changes to the end-of-life support date for Windows 10. October 2025 has been the target date for Windows 10 to end support for years.

The news just confirms what many suspected: that the current version of Windows 10, version 22H2, will be the last function update for Windows 10. The latest feature update that wasn't really even a feature update, it just fixed some bugs.
