Microsoft has released new ISO images for Windows 10 version 1809 (October 2018 Update). The new ISO includes the latest cumulative update (KB4489899) released by the company.
This means that if you wish to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 using these latest ISOs, the OS build number will be 17763.379. This is also the latest version of October 2018 Update.
Windows 10 version 1809: To check the operating system version after installation, press the two keys together [icon name = ”windows” class = ”” unprefixed_class = ””] + R type winver in the RUN window and press Enter.
Like all previous ISO OSs, the new images come in too many languages in 32 and 64-bit. They can be used for clean Windows 10 Home and Pro installations.
Microsoft is expected to release new cumulative updates for Windows 10 on April 9, April Patch Tuesday. This means that if you have a copy of Windows 10 from the new ISO images, you will only need to download a smaller update for this month, as all previous enhancements already exist on your system.
