Windows 10; help in the fight against COVID 19

One of the latest features of Windows 10 is Windows Sandbox. The Windows Sandbox allows you to run applications on environment without worrying about modifications that could be made to your files.

It is essentially a secure virtual machine. But as the title says, let's see how you can help with Windows 10 and Sandbox to fight it .

Microsoft itself explains the new feature, revealing that the Windows Sandbox allows all of us who want to offer computing power (CPU) to the project Folding @ Home.

Foldit was created by of the University of Washington to use players' tireless compulsion to solve problems that aid scientific innovation.

Researchers and scientists would use this power to run simulations s that would help fight various diseases, including the current COVID 19 pandemic.

Microsoft has created a special command for PowerShell, which will configure what you need if you want to contribute to this project.

All you have to do is obviously enable Windows Sandbox on your device, and run it with the following PowerShell command:

Powershell.exe -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File. \ Install_folding_sandbox_on_host.ps1
