Η Microsoft will release smaller updates to Windows 10. This translates into smaller downloads and of course a significant bandwidth savings.
To date, the ISO downloads of Windows 10 have been around 4,8 GB, because Microsoft included the x64 and x86 versions in a single file. This will allow the company to install ISO only for x64 bit systems with a size of about 2.6GB, saving businesses about 2,2GB from the previous download size.
These smaller ISOs will only exist for the archives of x64 and will be available from 27 Σεπτεμβρίου for companies that update their systems in Windows 10, 1703, 1709 and 1803. As soon as the October release is released, there will be the smallest ISO for the x64 bit version.
Let's mention, if you did not understand the above, that smaller files will only be available to businesses,
However, the smaller Windows 10 update packages will only contain the original version of Windows 10, which means they do not have the cumulative updates that were released by RTM onwards.
This means that administrators will need to separately install the latest cumulative update to update their systems.
