The Windows 11 were officially announced but Microsoft published specific hardware requirements for the operating system to work system. So it is no surprise that many scalpers have started advertising that they have TPM 2.0.
Scalping (on eBay, of course) the TPM units, a specialized security chip that will be used for the keys encryptionof Windows 11 was expected after Microsoft's announcement.
Thanks to Windows 11, people are scalping TPM2.0 modules as well now.

Once the company unveiled the hardware and software requirements required by Windows 11, prices began to skyrocket. Why; Microsoft says, "Devices that do not meet the" hard floor "will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11, and devices that meet the" soft floor "will receive a notification that the upgrade is not recommended."
The specialized security chip TPM 2.0 is referred to by Microsoft as "soft floor."
Many pre-made laptops they come with TPM already connected or glued to the mainboard, and most new motherboards support TPM via firmware. In cases where this is not the case, one may need to purchase the chip separately. You should check if your machine has TPM 2.0 support via UEFI.
Of course, this will put many consumers on adventures. (The same thing has happened with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics cards in the past) If you need to buy a TPM 2.0, make sure you only buy from a reputable source (Tip: not from eBay) Its suggested retail price is around at $ 20. Do not pay more…
