Windows 11 KB5006674 cumulative update for banned systems as well

Microsoft released update KB5006674. This is the first cumulative update of the Windows 11 and brings minor bug fixes.

Since the launch of Windows 10 in 2015, Microsoft has focused on "Windows as a Service". The same model works for Windows 11. Update KB5006674 includes compatibility fixes (not security fixes), and if you leave Windows Update, this update will be done automatically.

Generally, the Windows Updates released yesterday Tuesday include security fixes, but the first Windows 11 update is all about compatibility fixes. Installing the October 2021 Cumulative Update will raise the Build number of installed Windows 11 to Build 22000.194 (version 21H2).

So if you have Windows 11 installed and checking for updates today, the following update will appear in Windows Update:

Microsoft said it has fixed compatibility issues between Intel's “Killer” and “SmartByte” and the operating system. The error it was affecting networking software and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets, resulting in poor performance.

The bug affected the performance of websites and some programs browsing were loading websites much slower than Windows 10. This cumulative update addresses the issue.

For PCs that do not comply with Microsoft requirements, they receive the update as shown in the image above. Note, however, that this is not a security update.
