Now that the holiday season has passed, Microsoft has finally fixed several bugs.
Yesterday, the company temporarily experienced a problem with one SQL server driver that has been showing errors since November and earlier today, the company from the Redmond also announced that it had fixed an issue related to provisioning packages (.ppkg files).
This bug was causing problems in the OOBE (out of box experience) of Windows 11 22H2. The fix was released with update KB5020044.
However, Microsoft has since discovered another issue related to provisioning, and it is causing application installs to fail.
So the company he says that elevated privileges may be required;
Using provisioning packages in Windows 11, version 22H2 (Windows 11 2022 Update) may not install all expected applications. Affected applications require elevated privileges to install (must be installed by administrators) and may not have sufficient rights during provisioning for installation. Provisioning packages are .PPKG files used to help set up devices for use on business or school networks. for more information about provisioning packages, see Provisioning packages for Windows. Note: Provisioning Windows devices that use Windows Autopilot are not affected by the issue.
Microsoft also says it is preparing a permanent fix and will release it in a future update. In the meantime, he also provided a temporary solution:
Solution: Any required applications that were not installed can be installed after provisioning is complete.
