Microsoft is preparing a new Notepad application in Windows 11.
“Today we're rolling out the redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 to all Windows Insiders on the Dev Channel," announced Microsoft's Dave Grochocki.
“The redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 includes a number of changes that we think the community will enjoy. You will notice a completely updated user interface that aligns with the new one visual Windows 11 design, with rounded corners, Mica and more. We know how important Notepad is to so many of your daily tasks, so we've designed a modern take on the classic app to make it new, yet familiar.”
The new look supports Dark mode, an important one mode. The new Notebook also features a redesigned Find and Replace experience, Grochocki mentions, and will support multi-level undo, a request from many users.
