Windows 11 taskbar gets internet speed test

The latest Windows 11 preview builds from the Dev and Beta channels feature a number of interesting hidden features that Microsoft is preparing for a public release sometime in the future. One of those features is a built-in internet speed test (of sorts) in the network pop-up window.

In future updates, the network pop-up in Windows 11 will get a new speed test button next to the Wi-Fi refresh button (another useful button that took Microsoft a while to implement), giving users quick access to an internet speed test.

Here's what the new internet speed test button looks like in Windows 11:

If you don't want to wait, use PowerToys and the Run launcher program. It has a special module that allows you to measure your internet speed without opening your browser or using Bing.
