Windows 7 & 8 continue to be upgraded to Windows 10 for free

The deadline for the free upgrade to Windows 10 that supposedly ended on July 29, seems to have not ended, as the of Windows 7 and 8.1 continue to activate their upgrades at no charge whatsoever.

Its free upgrade policy allowed Windows 7 and 8.1 users who had Windows 10 installed before the July 29 deadline to activate their copy free of charge.Microsoft Windows 10

According to ZDNet, the free upgrade continues to exist until today and Microsoft has stated:

"Users upgrading their PC for the first time will need to enter a key of Windows 10. Users who already had Windows 10 installed on their PC will be automatically activated when reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC.”

Only it seems that activating Windows 10 with a legit Windows 7 or 8.1 key still activates the new one normally even on computers that are being upgraded for the first time.

Of course, such "errors" that extend the free upgrade we had predicted would exist before the end of the free offer. The goal of one billion Windows 10 devices was not achievable even when the company had the product for free, let alone now.

You should only think of this: Today's leader is the one who possesses the most information (or the information), and the of the operating system perfectly serves this logic as well. Microsoft will continue to market their product anyway...remember the aggressive policy that forced the new OS onto some computers.

The company already has two complaints about this behavior.

What do you say, will Microsoft so easily quit its target? How does the guy look at the picture above? Does he seem ready to give up?
