The Microsoft games that came with Windows 7 were very different from those included in Windows 8 or 10.
The company decided to remove all the old applications and make the new ones available through it Windows Store. But the Windows Store doesn't have the games you could find installed on Windows 7.
So if you can not find your favorite Windows 7 game in the new operating system Windows 10, or if you prefer the classic Solitaire from Microsoft's Solitaire Collection, then you might be interested in the following post, as it shows how you can install classic Windows 7 games on Windows 10.
Let's see how it works:
Download the Window 7 game installer from the link at the end of the publication.
Extract the contents of the file (171 Megabytes) to your system and run its .exe installations.
The installer will display all Window 7 games, and you can choose to install all or some of them.
The exe contains the games: Chess Titans, FreeCell, Hearts, Mahjong Titans, Minesweeper, Purble Place, Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Internet Backgammon, Internet Checkers, Internet Spades.
Once installed, you can run them from the start menu.
