Windows 7 started sending daily upgrade notifications

Yesterday, Microsoft delivered the latest update of Windows 7 and so from today the of this operating system will receive daily, full-screen notifications reminding them to switch to Windows 10.

As long as you're still using Windows 7, Microsoft won't leave you alone. Users of Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional and of Windows 7, will start seeing a full-screen upgrade notification.

The it will convey that “Your Windows 7 computer is out of support” and recommend you to upgrade to Windows 10.

Of course those who buy it extension of support no one will bother them. But other users can easily ignore these alerts.

For better or worse in the message there will be the possibility of handling it. It will contain two options. The first will be the "Reminder later" where it will simply delete the message and reappear the next day and the second will be "Do not remind me again" where pressing it will get rid of a good one.

This notification is related to "EOSNotify", a program that was automatically installed with the KB4350734 update in December. An alternative way to stop notifications, for advanced users, is to modify the EONS settings with Windows Registry Editor.

Users with a genuine license can obtain free upgrade to Windows 10.
