Yesterday, Microsoft released the latest Windows 7 quality update, so from today, users of this operating system will receive daily, full-screen notifications reminding them to switch to Windows 10.
As long as you continue to use Windows 7, Microsoft will not leave you alone. Users of Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate versions of Windows 7, will start seeing a full-screen upgrade notification.
The message it will convey will be that “Windows 7 computeryour is out of support” and will recommend you to upgrade to Windows 10.
Of course those who buy it extension of support no one will bother them. But other users can easily ignore these alerts.
For better or worse in the message there will be the possibility of handling it. It will contain two options. The first will be the "Reminder later" where it will simply delete the message and reappear the next day and the second will be "Do not remind me again" where pressing it will get rid of a good one.
Η notice this is related to “EOSNotify”, a program that was automatically installed with the KB4350734 update in December. An alternative method of stopping notifications, for advanced users, is to amendment of the EONS settings with the Windows Registry Editor.
