Windows as a Service is here! Just two days ago Microsoft released the Windows 10 Build 10240 for Windows Insiders.
While many thought it was a build of her Release to manufacturing or RTM Gabe Aul had pointed out that it is the beginning of Windows like service or Windows as a Service which means the continuous update of Windows 10.
So the first opportunity to participate in Windows as a Service arrived for Windows Insiders who have installed Windows 10 Build 10240.
With a tweet, Gabe Aul announced the first update to Microsoft's new practice: Windows as a Service is here:
Gabe confirmed that a cumulative update of security updates will come to Build 10240.

As we had reported, here at iGuRu.gr, immediately after the release of the "RTM", the preview builds stop and that the new changes will not be needed installation of the entire operating system, but only the updates that the company will have.
From the publication of the announcement of "RTM"
Curiously, in today's announcement of the company there is no mention of the sign-off of RTM - although it may be expected as with the new operating comes and Windows-as-a-Service. But it could be one RTM Escrow, that is, a stage before RTM.
Whatever Microsoft today, it will focus on the latest touches and possible fixes. But for any change you will not need to reinstall the entire operating (those who install RTM) as the company will upgrade RTMs with updates.
So from today we also officially welcome Windows as a Service.
