Windows vs Linux is a matter of perspective

Reading it article by Dimitris and the comments that followed, I thought I'd add my own opinion. From my point of view, Linux is an operating system which is not going to stop you from doing the job you need to do. (I'm not a gamer, nor a graphic designer stuck in photoshop even though I use it).

Linux has always been there for me, ready to help me do things.

windows vs. linux

But I have been using Linux for many years, so it is almost a second nature of mine. If you grew up with Windows, then it is very likely that you talk about your platform as if it were your second nature.

Windows vs Linux It's a matter of perspective.

Imagine you were born in , Greek makes sense. It 's easy. It is familiar. You can dream in Greek.

Now, imagine that you are going to live in Germany. German does not make sense, it is incomprehensible, complicated, and confusing.

Something similar happens with Windows and Linux. If you "grew up" in a house with "Windows", you can use the operating system in your sleep, and it makes sense.

Linux? It's like German to you. it is incomprehensible, complicated, and confusing. The same goes for Linux. If you grew up in a house with Linux, Windows is an overly complex operating system and has problems very often.

The truth is, both functionally work, and both make sense to those who use them regularly. To say that one is definitely better than the other is like ignoring the strengths of each, while both have many.

In the end, we have to look at it from the point of view: What is the best tool for the job we want to do? Both Linux and Windows are the best tools for specific tasks. Even if one lags behind the other it would be unacceptable if you do not combine them.

For example, although I use as a primary OS at home, one partition contains Windows 10 with a few apps that I occasionally need. If I can't do anything with Gimp, I boot into Windows and open PhotoShop.

Why Quite simply, I don't want Microsoft's "spastics", every 3 or so at the risk of losing files or showing some blue .

These few, so that there is multicolor.
