Is your computer slow? Do Windows slow to load? Windows itself is not the fastest operating system. Sometimes it is much slower with the addition of software and other utilities.
Below we will see how you can make Windows faster with tweaking them in your operating system. We'll see what services are doing what, and how to disable some of them. We will of course recommend disabling services that are not needed on your system.
What are Windows services?
Windows services are simple programs running in the background. Unlike the regular programs you can open and configure, you do not see the services. Also, unlike standard programs, services remain in the background even if you sign out of your account.
Windows services are very important because they are used to control various functions and tasks of your operating system. But some of these are not necessary.
In modern versions of Windows, the services are highly optimized and disabling them can cause several problems. Before we see which of these will not affect your system, let's see how you can manage Windows services.
You will need to open the Services panel to view and customize Windows services. The easiest way to open services is to look up the term services.msc or just search services in Windows.
You can also see the services in the Windows Task Manager by pressing the three keys together Ctrl+Shift+Esc. In screen that will open click the Services tab.
However, Task Manager will not give you all the information you need. So we will use the main table, which you can open it as you see in the picture below.
Service properties and startup types
You will see a list of services sorted by name, with a description for each. The Status field shows whether the service is active. Double-click a service to open the Properties window for more information. Right-clicking on a service will see Start, Stop, Pause, Resume, or Restart.
Automatic: Why the service starts when Windows starts.
Auto (delayed startup): The service starts automatically shortly after Windows Window starts.
Manual: The service starts when Windows or some other service is needed.
Disabled: The service remains inactive.
Now let's see what services you can disable.
Before making any changes, we recommend that you create a restore point so that you can easily undo possible mistakes.
Netlogon
This service validates your user account and other services with a domain controller, which is part of a Windows domain and is often used in business computer settings. Your home computer is definitely not part of a domain, so this service is not needed on your computer.
Windows Insider Service
The Program Windowws Insider lets you try new versions of Windows 10 before it's officially released. If you are not an Insider you do not need the service.
Parental Controls
Windows 10 has some parental control options. If you do not need them you can disable the service.
Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Service
This service handles some touch screen functions. If you have a desktop (or laptop without a touchscreen), you do not need the service.
BitLocker Disk Encryption Service
BitLocker is a built-in Windows application for encrypting your hard drive. Is available only the Pro version and above, ie do not look for it in Windows Home versions. You can also turn it off if you do not want to use the BitLocker application.
Downloaded Maps Manager
Allows applications to access any maps you have downloaded for offline use. If you do not use the built-in Maps or the like, you do not need the service.
Bluetooth support service
Of course you do not need the service if you do not have Bluetooth on your computer. If you have Bluetooth on your laptop, you can also turn it off for added security from Bluetooth attacks.
Retail Demo Service
Window 10 includes a demo mode that shows some Windows 10 features. You can disable the service.
Second Logon
This service allows you to perform administrative tasks from a standard account using the Run As or Run as option. It's helpful if you have many users on your computer, but if your account is the only one on your computer, you do not need the service.
Print Spooler
Print queue service or Print Spooler is required for Windows printing to work properly. But if you do not print, you will not need the service.
Smart Card
This service, along with the smart device registration service cardand the smart card removal policy, apparently help Windows work properly with smart cards. But it is rather unlikely that you will encounter the functions on home computers.
Remote Desktop Settings
Another service that has many additional features (Remote Desktop Services, UserMode Port Redirector, and Remote Desktop Services). Allows Remote Desktop to work properly. If you never use these features, these services are not necessary.
Fax
When did you send a fax from your computer?
Application services
Above we mention only Windows services. You'll probably also see some third-party apps. These services are accompanied by the corresponding software. So instead of disabling services, you should remove the software if you do not use it on your computer.

The "Second Logon" is needed for the Battle.net application, ie the platform on which you can play WOW, Warzone, etc.
The "Bluetooth Support Service" is needed in case you have any bluetooth device eg headphones, if turned off, do not work.
is from a program that was uninstalled
search for services, open the application, find the service and turn it off. It will definitely exist as an entry in the register and you will have to find it. If you do not know better bourgeois to exist
I did it, I entered the registry and deleted everything related to the program, but the services do not say to unbutton it.

In the following way: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/how-to-delete-a-windows-service-in-vista-or-xp/
Advice. I would not recommend deleting a service as there is a possibility that its absence from the registry (after deletion) will create a conflict with another process.
If you ask me if we can know in advance what other registrations the service we delete interacts with, I tell you "no we do not know" and we will find out when the source code (like win XP) comes out φό
how do I delete an entry in the services?
