Windows Subsystem for Android just released

Microsoft will release Windows 11 on October 5 and a basic που υποσχέθηκε και δεν θα παραδοθεί είναι η υποστήριξη για Android. But the app is officially released on Microsoft Store and you can download it.

Unfortunately, he is not doing anything right now. If you go and open the application in the Microsoft Store, you will see just a blank black window.

But what is interesting is the listing in the Store for Windows Subsystem for Android. The application has not gone through any preview stage, and Microsoft has not explained how it will work or what you will need.

So Microsoft's post is listed as Confidential in the description, because the app is for testing and people who are supposed to use it shouldn't get snapshots or talk about its content.

The system requirements page is a bit more specific. The required version of Windows is 22000, which will be the one released on October 5. But as we can see from the Store, the function can be released independently. It will require 8 GB of RAM, with 16 GB recommended. It will work with ARM64 or x64 processors, which is not surprising, as these two types of processors can work with Windows 11.

Perhaps most interestingly, this application is also available for Xbox consoles (Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S).

Microsoft hasn't talked about Android apps running on game consoles until now, but gaming on Android is a big deal. THE of these games on the console, could be a very useful strategy if it eventually happens.
