In the area of technical support, for many years the dominant "weapon" in our quiver was HirensBootCD.
As late as 2012, when support for version 15.2 ceased, a PE creation by "fans" of the project was released, which included only freeware, instead of the trial professional versions of its predecessor. (introduction to bootable Windows PE recovery discs in an earlier article here: https://iguru.gr/bootable-windows-pe-recovery-disks/ )
Another bootable tool, WinPE 10-8 Sergei Strelec, has now taken over the field.
It is currently the only project that has support and bugfix updates, which contains the latest in professional (trial) versions.

It can be loaded from usb formatted with Ventoy ( https://iguru.gr/ventoy-multiboot-usb-creator-1-0-86/ )
Observation: in tests, the latest version of Strelec appears to be more demanding on hardware in terms of its boot time.
If using it on older systems, select native mode.
