In the area of technical support, for many years the dominant "weapon" in our quiver was HirensBootCD.
Until 2012 when it was discontinued in version 15.2, it was released creation a PE by "fans" of the project, which included only free software, instead of the trial professional versions of its predecessor. (introduction to bootable Windows PE recovery discs in an earlier article here: https://iguru.gr/bootable-windows-pe-recovery-disks/ )
Another bootable tool, WinPE 10-8, has now taken over the field Sergei Strelec.
It is currently the only project that has support and bugfix updates, which contains the latest in professional (trial) versions.

It can be loaded from a usb formatted with the windy ( https://iguru.gr/ventoy-multiboot-usb-creator-1-0-86/ )
Observation: in tests, the latest version of Strelec appears to be more demanding in hardware regarding its start time.
If using it on older systems, select native mode.
