The app has just been updated to 2.0.4.
The new Wireshark 2.0.4 is an important patch version of many security issues that were discovered in the third edition.
The new update fixes (all changelog at the end of publication) 9 security flaws and 30 bugs:
Too many application malfunctions that caused writs have been addressed in Wireshark 2.0.4, especially in the IEEE 802.11 dissector, UMTS FP dissector, Ethernet dissector, and some USB dissectors.
The Wireshark 2.0.4 release also marks the update and support for more protocols, including: AIPv4, IEEE 802.11, ICMPv6, Ethernet, NFS, AFS, GSM A RR, ANSI IS-637 A, DCERPC SPOOLS, BACapp, LPADm, BT BNEP, SMB, Cisco FabricPath MiM, USB, UMTS FP, CSN.1, OpenFlow, DIS, TZSP, MRCPv2, JXTA, ISUP, LAPSat, J1939, STT, SGSAP and LTE-RRC.
Also note that Toshiba, Aethra, Catapult DCT2000, iSeries, CoSine, VMS TCPIPtrace, DBS Etherwatch, ERF, NetScreen, and Ixia IxVeriWave capture file formats were updated and fully supported by the new Wireshark.
