The logic "the more Megapixels, the better" is said to be adopted by Xiaomi after it started advertising a future smartphone with a 48 megapixel camera sensor.
Of course, the Chinese company's goal is to hit Huawei's P20 Pro and Mate 20 Pro, which have 40-megapixel camera sensors.
According to an image posted by Xiaomi president, the Lin Bin on the Weibo page, the smartphone will feature a camera in its upper left corner, along with a dual tone LED flash.
However, the image does not fully reveal the device and there is still no information on the number of camera sensors of the upcoming smartphone.
The post states that Lin Bin has been using the smartphone for a few weeks and thinks it is not bad!
We will probably see this particular smartphone in January, during CES 2019.
The details of the upcoming smartphone remain unknown. So far we do not know if the company chooses the sensor of Sony IMX586 or Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1. However, both Sony and Samsung sensors are able to achieve 4x digital zoom and have a result of 12 megapixels.
More in January when the official announcement will be released. If until then we do not have a "leak."
