Did you buy a Xiaomi Mi 4c and want to start the modifications on your device? To get started, you'll need to access the root of your smartphone. Let's see how it works.
Probably the easiest way to root a Xiaomi Mi 4c device is to download a developer rom from it by clicking here of English MIUI.
Select the download link, use the available filters to locate your device, and make sure to download the latest Developer rom available on the page λήψηs.
Why Developer rom? Because it's already rooted. We recommend that you use a download manager to speed up downloading, as downloads from China can be extremely slow.
When the download is complete, connect your device to your computer. If your computer can not detect the smartphone (Xiaomi Mi 4c) by default, you must first install the drivers.
An easy way to add the required driver to your system is by installing the official Mi PC Suite available in English. Of course you can find drivers on the device itself when you connect it to your computer.
Your device should be automatically recognized after the drivers are installed. Move the downloaded ROM file to the "downloaded_rom" folder of the device. You can use the File Explorer of PC Suite and drag it and drop it, or with Windows Explorer.
It is a good idea to make a backup using PC Suite.

Xiaomi Mi 4c After Rooting
You already have a rooted device, but you will need to take a final step before you can use it.
Xiaomi blocks root for installed ones applications by default. So you should give root access for installed third-party apps as well. You can do this by opening the security app on your device and selecting Permissions under that category.
There you can select "root access." From there you can choose which applications you want to enable root access.
Note that you will see four or five "please wait five seconds, are you sure?" to enable root access on the selected application.
