Xiaomi Mi 6: According to the latest rumors, Xiaomi's next big smartphone, Mi 6, will be released in early February. It is not yet clear when it will be released on the market, but we can assume it will originally be released in China.
The Mydrive says Mi 6 will be released at the same price as Mi 5, which means we will see it on the shelves from 360 up to 435 dollars, depending on the hardware.
The same source reports that Xiaomi made a benchmark at AnTuTu and Mi 6 broke all the records by reaching 210.329 points.
The previous smartphone that had scored higher in AnTuTu was the iPhone 7 Plus with 183.106 score units.
The first Android smartphone to benchmark on AnTuTu was the recently launched OnePlus 3T with a Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 821. The Chinese device managed to reach 163.578 points on AnTuTu.
We should mention that Mi 6 is Xiaomi's first smartphone to be equipped with the rugged Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
Unfortunately, we have not learned any further details with the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 except for its introduction to AnTuTu.
The Snapdragon 835 chipset was officially announced last year, but Qualcomm gave more details about CPU performance a few days ago at CES 2017.
The Qualcomm processor is expected to power all the high-end smartphones that will be introduced to the market this year, or at least several of them. It has the new one technology Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 and eight Kryo 240 cores.
The Samsungs Galaxy S8 is expected to be equipped with the same chipset.
