Xiaomi Mi 6: While Xiaomi is preparing the next Mi 6 smartphone sources, they say the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be released sometime in July and will be released a few days after the official announcement.
The reason Xiaomi chose to release the device so slowly is because Qualcomm can not provide the strongest chipset of the Snapdragon 835 market before the official launch of the Galaxy S8, due in late April.
New information coming directly from China through Android Soul reports that there will be at least two versions of Xiaomi Mi 6: Youth and Standard.
The device will come with different specifications that will be priced accordingly. For example, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Youth Edition will have an 5,2 screen of unknown resolution (for now).
The smartphone will also be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor, with 4GB RAM and 64GB (emmc 5.1 storage technology) storage space.
The Youth version will come with a single camera lens at the back. and it will cost China about 290 dollars.
The Standard Edition will be more expensive since its price will reach 390 dollars, but it will have much better specs.
For example, the Mi 6 Standard Edition will be equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (CPU) processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage (UFS 2.0 storage technology) storage. In addition, the phone will have a larger 5,5 inch screen.
We can safely assume that both Xiaomi Mi 6 will be released on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
