Xiaomi Mi 6: While Xiaomi is preparing the next Mi 6 smartphone sources, they say the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be released sometime in July and will be released a few days after the official announcement.
The reason Xiaomi chose to release the device so late is because Qualcomm cannot provide the most powerful chipset in the market Snapdragon 835, before its official release Galaxy S8, which is due at the end of April.
New information coming straight out of China via Android Soul says there will be at least two versions of the Xiaomi Mi 6, the Youth and the Standard.
The device will come with different specifications that will be priced accordingly. For example, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Youth Edition will have an 5,2 screen of unknown resolution (for now).
The smartphone will also be powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 processor, with 4GB RAM and 64GB (emmc 5.1 storage technology) storage space.
Η version Youth will come with a single camera lens at the back. and it will cost about 290 dollars in China.
The Standard Edition will be more expensive since its price will reach 390 dollars, but it will have much better specs.
For example, the Mi 6 Standard Edition will be equipped with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (CPU) processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage (UFS 2.0 storage technology) storage. In addition, the phone will have a larger 5,5 inch screen.
We can safely assume that both Xiaomi Mi 6 will be released on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
