YouTube updates the Video Player

YouTube seems to be testing a new video player, as a UI is already available to some users of the service.
The HTML5 playback appears to offer an experience similar to the one you have on your mobile phone, according to the reports.Youtube

So the video player of the service will acquire a transparent bar which hides when you are not using it and will reappear as soon as you hover your mouse over it.

The official release of the new player has not been announced yet, but you can take a sneak peek at the following tricks.

Its user YouTube, TheHacker0007 published a video on his channel, which shows how to enable the new UI with the help of Chrome's EDitThisCookie extension.

You can also press the F12 and Shift keys together to open your browser development tools (we tried it in Firefox) and run the following command on the console:

.cookie = "VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE = Q06SngRDTGA"

Although some claim that the "Watch Later" button has disappeared in the new version, it seems to be available if you watch the videos in full screen.

It's likely that YouTube will add the button when the changes are complete, since the update hasn't been officially announced yet. The new appearance of the service, in addition to "losing" a button, also appears to present "hangs" in the videos during of their appearance.

Of course all this is expected in every new version that is in the testing phase. We are sure that if the new video player is finally released, it will work perfectly for every user.
