Zoom prepares email and calendar services

The adoption of Zoom services has reached new heights this year as many have been forced to work remotely.
The same happened with her Microsoft Teams, after the last months the saw a huge increase in the number of its daily active users.

Zoom, however, intends to grow even bigger, and appears to have new ambitions that could make it a strong rival to Google and .

According to one Publication, Zoom prepares to invest in more productivity applications, with an email client and a calendar.

Apparently, the email platform is already in development and according to the aforementioned publication, it is going to be a web-based email service that will be provided to from next year (2021).

Η calendar on the other hand, is an idea that Zoom is still exploring, but it seems that the company is committed to bringing it to market. But not next year.

The changing market has positioned Zoom application as a very strong alternative to Google and Microsoft and the company is trying to further this trend.

It remains to be seen whether this growth will continue after the end of the pandemic, as the new products mentioned above will be at an advanced stage of development.
