I installed ZorinOs when it first came out on an old 2009 acer netbook and it worked very well.
For browsing, basic text applications and music, I recommend it without reservation.
Flatpak is the tool and flathub is the repository. If it supports the flatpak package manager, shouldn't it also support its repository?
As an OS, it's pretty good for a laptop with atom 1.6. Polished and quite entry-user friendly.
A must for someone who wants to try Linux without the complexities, it is one of the best distributions in my opinion.
