In fact, over 72% of downloads came from Windows users. So it seems that the company's months-long advertising campaign to convince users to try Zorin OS instead of throwing their computers in the trash has paid off.
Microsoft's decision to arbitrarily exclude millions of users from Windows 11 by imposing TPM 2.0 and specific CPU lines is not only quite annoying, it will also create a mountain of electronic waste.
The temporary solution of extended support updates in Windows 10 gives users a reprieve from the inevitable: pay to upgrade now or pay to stay and pay to upgrade later. We're talking about businesses because home users won't pay for a year.

Will these users stay on Linux? No one knows. Zorin OS is based on GNOME Shell, and GNOME Shell is designed to be user-friendly and as lightweight as possible, while its Ubuntu LTS base is stable, reliable, and receives ongoing support.
Although the press releases will range from very select to rare, I said I'd pass...because sometimes the editors hide.
With this irresponsible move by Microsoft, all Windows users should change operating systems.
