New VLC Media Player 2.2.3

Η VideoLAN announced the release and immediate availability to download VLC 2.2.3 for all supported platforms, GNU / Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.

The new version of VLC Media Player brings fifteen bug fixes to various software sectors, such as demuxing, decoding, video output, Qt port, and improvements to Mac OS X and Windows versions. VLC Media Player 2.2.3 fixes bugs that were reported in Windows Media Video (WMV) playback.

 

It also improves MKV tags, and fixes MKV (Matroska) infinite loop along with HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) stack overflow. Decoding works with the libvdpau-va-GL library with the new version, and the libass library without dialog caching.

 

The list of changes continues with more fixes in the Qt version of VLC Media Player, as well as resume . For Windows users, VLC 2.2.3 allows you to open more than 15 items in Explorer.
