Η VideoLAN announced the release and immediate availability for downloading VLC Media Player 2.2.3 for all supported platforms, GNU / Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.
The new version of VLC Media Player brings fifteen bug fixes in various areas of the software, such as demuxing,codification, exit video, the Qt port, as well as improvements for the Mac OS X and Windows versions. VLC Media Player 2.2.3 fixes reported bugs in playing Windows Media Video (WMV) files.
It also improves MKV tags, and corrects MKV (Matroska) infinite loop along with HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) stack overflow. Decoding works with the libvdpau-va-GL library with the new version, and the libass library is used without cached dialogs.
The list of changes continues with more fixes in the Qt version of VLC Media Player, as well as resume toolbar. For Windows users, VLC 2.2.3 allows you to open more than 15 items in Explorer.
