Pranks with 5 harmless viruses for your friends

Pranks to friends or family are fun, provided they are innocuous. As long as we are constantly connected to our laptops, tablets or smartphones, we will see some virus jokes below.

These are not real viruses, of course, but they can seemingly destroy disks and systems. :) jokes

The following "viruses" may look malicious to the unsuspecting, but they are completely disinfected, and of course they will not cause any damage to the system in which they run.

1. False virus in .bat file

There are many variations of this prank. A special bat file can easily run fools , causing unusual movement on the victim's screen. The commands are dumb really, but they look serious when viewed from within the Command Prompt.

Copy and paste the following text into a txt file:

cls :A color 0a cls @echo off echo Wscript.Sleep echo Wscript.Sleep 5000>C:sleep5000.vbs echo Wscript.Sleep 3000>C:sleep3000.vbs echo Wscript.Sleep 4000>C:sleep4000.vbs echo Wscript.Sleep 2000>C:sleep2000.vbs 32>C:sleep3000.vbs cd %systemroot%System3000 dir cls start /w wscript.exe C:sleep2000.vbs echo Deleting Critical System Files… echo del *.* start /w wscript.exe C:sleep2000.vbs echo Deletion Successful ! start /w wscript.exe C:sleep4000.vbs echo: echo: echo: echo Deleting Root Partition… start /w wscript.exe C:sleep2000.vbs echo del %SYSTEMROOT% start /w wscript.exe C:sleepXNUMX.vbs echo Deletion Successful! start /w wscript.exe C:sleepXNUMX.vbs echo: echo: echo: echo Creating h4x…

pause
shutdown -s -t 10 -c "O υπολογιστής σας αυτοκτόνησε! Καλή τύχη την επόμενη φορά."

Save the txt, and then change the extension from .txt to .bat. This extension converts the text document into a batch file whose commands will be executed when the victim goes to open the file.

The batch file will start displaying the messages sequentially, and then an automatic end sequence will start.

You can stop automatic shutdown by pressing Windows Key + R together, and in the box that opens, type:

shutdown / a

2. False Blue Screen of Death

Below we will see a handy file for a prank showing the blue death screen (BSOD). A bogus BSOD simulates a system error.

Below is the code. copy it to a .txt file and, after saving, rename the .txt extension to .bat.

@echo off echo ^^^BSOD ^
 > bsod.hta echo. >> bsod.hta echo ^> bsod.hta echo applicationname="BSOD" >> bsod.hta echo version="1.0" >> bsod.hta echo maximizebutton="no" >> bsod.hta echo minimizebutton="no" >> bsod.hta echo sysmenu ="no" >> bsod.hta echo Caption="no" >> bsod.hta echo windowstate="maximize"/^> >> bsod.hta echo. >> bsod.hta echo ^^ >> bsod.hta echo ^ >> bsod.hta echo ^

>> bsod.hta echo. >> bsod.hta echo ^

>> bsod.htaecho. >> bsod.hta echo ^

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer, If this screen appears again, follow these steps: ^

>> bsod.hta echo. >> bsod.hta echo ^

Check to make sure that any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any updates you might need

>> bsod.hta echo. >> bsod.hta echo ^

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Change the .bat file icon

For more realism in your files, you can change the default .bat file icon.
Let's change the file icon with the Chrome browser icon.

Right-click on the fake virus and choose Send to Desktop (shortcut creation). Now, on your desktop, right-click the shortcut that you created, click Properties, and then select Change icon.
In the Google Chrome installation folder (C: \ Program Files \ Google \ Chrome), click Apply, and then Chrome.exe. Press OK.jokes

You will see many of the Chrome icons. Use the "normal" Chrome icon, click OK, then Apply and OK.

So the next time the victim chooses to open Chrome from the desktop, he will run the bogus BSOD.

3. EICAR test file

The following file, while completely harmless, will ask the user to take action for infections found on his computer.

The file EICAR test is an internationally recognized virus protection test. As a result, your antivirus software will act quickly to rid your system of the "threat". Unfortunately, it will immediately alert the victim that the virus signature matches the "EICAR Test Signature" and will damage the plate.

4. Fake Update or Fake Windows (and MAC) Update Screens

FakeUpdate will allow you to change the victim's browser to a slow screen s of Windows 10. Search in by clicking here the update screen you want (guess what victim is using) and then press F11 to switch to full screen mode.

5. And something extra

Want something extra? When the victim tells you that this "update is too late", you can help after the above prank by telling him that pressing Enter will usually speed up the process, only to trigger a fake BSOD!

The above website includes old versions of Windows, as well as some common ransomware screens.

6. Create your own bugs:

Below we will see how to create customized error messages. Open your notepad and type the following:

x = msgbox ("Your message here," Button + Icon, "Your title here")

Type your scary or humorous message in the first section and add a title to the second in between "".

Below we will explain what are Button + Icon, or buttons and icons. Buttons are the choices that may be available to the victim. Choose one of the following:

0 - Okay
1 - OK and Cancel
2 - Cancel, Repeat and Ignore
3 - Yes, No, and Cancel
4 - Yes and no
5 - Repeat and cancellation

Or in English

0 - OK
1 - OK and Cancel
2 - Abort, Retry, and Ignore
3 - Yes, No, and Cancel
4 - Yes and No
5 - Retry and Cancel

Additionally, you can select the icon that appears next to the error messages:

0 - No icon
16 - Critical Image
32 - Question mark icon
48 - Warning icon
64 - Information icon

or in English

0 - No icon
16 - Critical icon
32 - Question mark icon
48 - Warning icon
64 - Information icon

So if we add a button and an icon the above message is done:

x = msgbox ("Your Message Here", 2 + 48, "Your Title Here")

Typing the same text and changing messages buttons and icons in the same txt file gives more errors ....

x = msgbox ("Your second message gives you", 0 + 16, "Your second title here")

After completing your file at Notepad, go from File - Save as and select a file name. Replace the .txt file extension with .vbs.

Then change the Save to "All Files" option and click Save.

That's it….
Don't overdo it with the pranks above ...
