The Linux community is preparing to accept several refugees former owners of devices with Windows XP, after vacation of official support for the operating system from Microsoft in April.
The research company Tech Pro Research, which provides data on industry trends and approval rates, such as financial information etc. published a very interesting study that reveals the intentions of users of the Windows XP operating system after the end of its support by Microsoft.
As expected, a large number of users said they would have to switch to another operating system Windows, but there is also a large percentage, 11% to be more accurate, that said they intend to adopt an operating system Linux.
The percentage may not seem great, but if we think about the population it uses Windows XP, from individuals, to companies, we could see a significant increase in market share of the year Linux next year.
