ISP in Greece: What to avoid

Yesterday with the publication Internet Health Test: Do They Steal Us Mbps? we reviewed the speed of some ISPs, and we received various comments on social networks. Following this publication comes today. Which internet service providers in Greece overdo it? isp

Because the goal is not to speculate. We'll look at which ISPs block P2P of your line. Some providers use technical measures to block Bittorrent traffic to all their users without making any special effort to distinguish between users who use BitTorrent for legal purposes.

The developers of the BitTrend Azureus program created a plugin for the them, which gathers about provider interference. The plugin attempts to unmask ISPs that block RST packets. Every ten minutes, the plug-in detects your computer's tcp connection reset number and then shows you the results.

This information can then be shared anonymously with a central server, which records and maintains an up-to-date list of “Bad ISPs” informing the Bittorrent community.

What can I do;

The service states: "If you use one of the following ISPs, please consider finding a new, better one."

Below is a list of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that are believed to be causing problems to BitTorrent users, Online Gaming or other P2P clients.

If your internet service provider is not listed and you have reason to believe that they are setting the speed of your line, you can consider helping others and adding the information to the list. However, before doing so, make sure you read what they are correct settings, for problems of NAT and that your results are accurate.

If you have something to mention it would be good to add it to this post via disqus and not to media. This way you can warn other users who read this post.
