Passwords 2018: Is the password you use sunshine, or monkey? Bad news: if a hacker tries to break into your account, guessing the password will be one of the first to try.

SplashData, one developer of password managers SplashID, TeamsID and Gpass, has just released its annual “worst passwords” list.2018

The company reviewed over 5 million of access that in 2018 and published the 25 most common. In total, these passwords are used by 10% of internet users.

Although most of the codes in the list have appeared in previous lists, the new list also includes the codes: princess, sunshine,! @ # $% ^ & *, And donald.

If you use any of the following passwords, replace it directly with a stronger one. Strong codes can be found with more than 16 digits, letters (lowercase) and special symbols.

Due to the nature it is impossible to remember such passwords, use a password manager. The Keepass app is open source, free and very reliable. It saves the codes locally (on your computer) and not in the cloud, with very strong encryption.
