Windows 10 build 18342 was released on the Slow Ring

Microsoft has finally released the Windows 10 build 18342 preview for Slow Ring Insiders. This version was first tested in the Fast Ring by insiders earlier this month and as of today is available in the Slow ring (18342.8 - 19H1).

Earlier this week, Microsoft reported that builds for Slow ring users were suspended due to an error that could cause Green Screen of Death when running games that contain anti-cheat software.

The company said it was working with third parties to fix the bugs.

In the announcement that published today, the company explains those users who play games and are affected by the error will not be able to install Windows 10 build 18342 from Slow Ring, to avoid accidents.

It is unknown at this time how many users from Slow Ring are excluded from downloading the new build. But according to Microsoft, if you do not play games, you can try the new version.

Windows 10 version 1903 is expected to be released for more next month, while the "Final" version will be released in April.

To install the new version follow the path: Settings -> Update & security -> Windows Insider Program. If you are already registered, try 'Check for updates' in the Windows Update tab.
