KB4577586 to remove Adobe Flash

Microsoft has released the update to remove Adobe Flash from Windows. THE as it removes the Adobe application, it also prevents any possible future reinstallation.

In In September 2020, Microsoft announced that an optional update will be released in the fall to uninstall Adobe Flash Player and prevent it from being reinstalled on the same device.

Today, Microsoft released the update "Update for the removal of Adobe Flash Player: October 27, 2020KB4577586 to remove Adobe Flash from all versions of Windows 10 and Windows Server.

This optional update is only available through Microsoft Catalog and if installed, it will not be removable later.

Those wishing to reinstall Adobe Flash Player on a device after this update should restore the device to a previous point or install a fresh copy of Windows 10.

Microsoft states that once the update is installed, Adobe Flash Player will be removed automatically.
