A 10 year girl, found brain dead at home from his parents, after causing suffocation through TikTok.
A 10-year-old girl was found unconscious on Thursday at his home in Palermo, Italy with a belt tied around his neck. His parents immediately took him to the local hospital in Palermo, where he was found to be brain dead.
According to the police authorities, the girl's drowning was done by him, during a Blackout challenge, through the platformof social network TikTok. Her parents decided to donate the girl's organs.
The Blackout Challenge, and a milder variant of it, called the Passout Challenge, were released on TikTok last year.
Experts have warned of risks associated with the challenges, including fainting, seizures, stroke damage, even death.
