From the Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office, a case file was filed against 28's native country for personal data breach and extortion
A routine case file was formed by the Greek Police's Electronic Crime Prosecutor's Office against 28's native country for personal data breaches, illegal access to computer systems and extortion.
Investigation of the case began after a domestic complaint against 28, for violating her personal data and for extortion.
According to the complaint, 28 has, after having obtained illegal access to digital files with sensitive personal data of both her past and former partner, then forwarded these files to the emails of the aforementioned, threatening to make them public.
At the same time, I was complaining that she had received a telephone call from an unknown person asking her to pay the amount of 100.000 euros, in order to prevent leaked digital archives from spreading.
For this, the Athens Prosecutor's Office was notified and an order was issued for a preliminary examination. A public prosecutor's order was held yesterday (08-04-2015) in the morning, a survey at the 28 home in an area of Attica.
During the investigations a portable computer was found and seized and sent to the Criminal Investigation Division for laboratory tests.
The file that has been filed will be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of Athens.
