After the announcements of the President of USA Barack Obama on purported reforms to the National Security Agency's surveillance tactics on Friday, it was to be expected that there would be backlash.
The global debate on government interceptions, initiated by documents leaked by him Edward Snowden, seems to be out of date. Obama initially (since August of 2013) promised to introduce changes to his policies NSA. From then until now, the pressure has escalated. Companies technologyς, Κυβερνητικοί αξιωματούχοι, ηγέτες άλλων κρατών, και ομάδες ταγμένες στην protection of privacy demanded that Obama immediately make drastic changes to the NSA's programs.
When Obama unveiled his plan on Friday, reactions escalated. Some called the new measures an "important milestone", while others accused the US president of saying nothing important during his remarks. Nevertheless, the conscience of the American President seems to be calm, after he has fulfilled what he promised. He made the announcements of the reforms, and whether public opinion welcomed them with ridicule, relief or restrained optimism, he did his duty.
Of course, we should add that Obama's reforms will not come into force immediately, and many of them are just suggestions, without specific details of how they can be made possible.
Here are some of these varied reactions (without looking at the feasibility).
