The following guide θα σας παρουσιάσει πόση μνήμη RAM χρειάζεται ο υπολογιστής σας. Θα πρέπει να γνωρίζετε ότι το μέγεθος της RAM, ο τύπος και η speed, which your system supports depends on the motherboard.
Refer to your PC manual to see what kind of RAM the motherboard "wears" supports or, if your computer is manufactured by an OEM, use the page found at Crucial.com to find out which RAM is compatible with your system .
1GB
1GB RAM is the minimum requirement of the 32-bit system in Windows 10. Windows 10 will run with this RAM, but we do not recommend it.
1GB RAM is just enough for basic Windows features such as web browsing (do not expect to run dozens of tabs), email, or word processing.
Every kind of game will make you worse and you will not play as RAM only raises Windows. Performing other tasks such as editing a photo or copying a CD will stick to the whole system. As for editing videos, forget about it.
2GB
2GB RAM is the minimum system requirement for the 64-bit version of Windows 10. You can also run it with less RAM, but you will probably start looking.
With 2GB you should be able to do almost anything with your computer, like play games, edit image or video, run suites like Microsoft Office, with a dozen browser tabs open. But surely your system will be slow with many parallel processes.
With 2GB, you can also run some hardcore applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (as reported by Adobe), but this RAM will not allow you many other parallel processes.
If in a system you have 2GB RAM and add more you will notice a huge difference!
4 GB
If you run an 32-bit operating system with 4GB RAM, your system will only use 3.2GB. However, an 64-bit operating system also uses 4GB.
The difference in performance between a system with 2GB of RAM and one with 4GB is like night and day. Even on a 32-bit system that limits RAM to just over 3GB, the performance gain is worth the cost of buying extra memory. In addition to making apps run much faster, you can run more apps at the same time, which is really handy if you're running suites like Microsoft Office or Adobe Creative Cloud (say you want to run Microsoft Word and Excel together, or Adobe Photoshop and the Lightroom).
All but the cheapest Windows 10 systems come with 4GB RAM, while 4GB is the least available on any modern Mac system.
8GB
Let's say from the beginning that you will need an 64-bit operating system to use 8GB RAM.
The default of the demanding. If you want a system for photo editing or HD video editing, "heavy" games, or you just want a fast system, then 8GB of RAM is the least you can use to not be disappointed.
This is the amount of RAM recommended by Adobe for users running Creative Cloud applications.
The 8GB RAM is not expensive and performance will make you so excited.
16GB and 16GB +
Let's say from the beginning that you will need an 64-bit operating system to use 16GB RAM.
For professionals or gamers that 8 GB RAM is useful but not reachable. For the use of image editing, video editing applications (even 4K video), CAD or 3D modeling. Run together Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects side-by-side on a system with 8GB RAM, then try the same with 16GB and you will feel the difference.
16GB + is required for extensive use of virtualization tools such as Microsoft Hyper-V or VMware Workstation, especially if you are running multiple virtual machines at the same time.
