Program extensions tours AdBlock and Adblock Plus just debuted on Windows 10's Microsoft Edge as well.
Προς το παρόν όμως ο Microsoft Edge δεν υποστηρίζει επεκτάσεις στις σταθερές εκδόσεις του, οπότε μόνο οι χρήστες Windows Insider μπορούν να εγκαταστήσουν την επέκταση suspensionς διαφημίσεων. Η Microsoft δοκιμάζει την εν λόγω λειτουργία αυτή την περίοδο και σχεδιάζει να τη απελευθερώσει στην επερχόμενη information that summer is coming.
To install one of these new extensions, all you need to do is open the links in the store for AdBlock and AdBlock Plus and click the install button. If you are running the latest version of Windows 10 in the Windows Insider program, the installation must be completed successfully. Then just go to the Edge Extension menu, and you'll be prompted to add the advertisers.
It goes without saying that the movement αυτή θα ενισχύσει την ελκυστικότητα του browser Edge, αφού η εφαρμογή ξεκίνησε το Ιούλιο του 2015 με μόνο ένα βασικό πακέτο χαρακτηριστικών, όταν όλοι οι υπόλοιποι browsers κάνουν σχεδόν τα πάντα.
Microsoft to gain the lost ground intends to make its extensions Chrome to work on Edge, with very small changes to the source code of each extension, so given that extensions will be available to regular users in July, the company hopes that the majority of developers will start adapting in the remaining months its extensions for the Windows browser as well.
The Edge Browser is exclusively for Windows 10 users and this is definitely another reason that can not take much of the market share yet but Microsoft expects the application to become more popular as the adoption of the new operating system which is constantly gaining ground.
