As part of the suite software Adobe Creative Cloud, το Animate CC θα σας επιτρέπει να εισαγάγετε και να χρησιμοποιείτε φωτογραφίες, διανυσματικά γραφικά και εικόνες από τη βιβλιοθήκη του Adobe Stock μέσα από την surface εργασίας της εφαρμογής. Το ενημερωμένο λογισμικό, το οποίο θα κυκλοφορήσει στις αρχές του 2016, θα εξακολουθεί να υποστηρίζει αρχεία Flash (SWF) και AIR formats.
This Adobe move is based on the company's intention to support the new standards of the world wide web and encourages software and website developers to favor the new standards, ie HTML5 and not Flash.
Adobe also said it was "determined to work with industry partners to ensure continued compatibility of Flash files" and revealed that it was working with Facebook to ensure that Flash games would continue to work.
