According to a Wall Street Journal, the US company has already introduced the device to application developers in San Francisco and Seattle. Amazon's plans include the announcement of the smartphone in the coming June and its launch in markets around late September to be fully available during the December festive season.

It is worth noting that rumors about the creation of a smartphone by Amazon exist and have been circulating for the last few years, without ever being an official announcement. However, the company has gained significant shares in the hardware market, particularly in the United States, with the e-reader/ Kindle, while more recently the Fire TV was launched, a video streaming device costing 99 dollars.

If the rumors and this publication are confirmed, Amazon will have to compete with companies that dominate this market such as Apple and Samsung. At the same time, it will have to compete with companies that are experiencing rapid global developments such as Huawei and Lenovo.

With such fierce competition, Amazon, according to the Wall Street Journal report, will be keen to "differentiate" its device. So, in her plans is to equip the future smartphone with four cameras
