AMD chose CES 2019 to present a series of new smartphone processors as well as the second-generation Ryzen 3000 Series, the fastest processor in the world for state-of-the-art laptops.
Ryzen 3000 series mobile processors use 12nm technology, and offer best-in-class performance, advanced features such as Wake on Voice, Modern Standby, smooth mode PC gaming and 4K HDR Streaming capability.
All this while still offering up to 10 hours duration battery life while playing video.
On the performance side, AMD claims that Ryzen 7 3700U can process media up to 29% faster than Intel Core i7-8550U and Ryzen 5 3500U can load web pages up to 14% faster than Intel Core i5- 8250U.
"Users expect mobile computing that excels in both everyday tasks and demanding experiences. AMD's latest mobile processor portfolio delivers just that at every level," said Saeid Moshkelani, Vice President and General Manager Client Compute, by AMD.
